Early this year, 'The Midas Touch' by Discrete has been nominated for a Juno Award for 'Electronica Album of the Year'! 'Always No' being the fifth track on Kyle's first full length album, samples the voice of Mike Tyson in an interview documentary. In this video clip Tyson describes an experience he had with a model he met at a party in the 90's, which ends with them in the bathroom together… Brushing each other's teeth.

In celebration of his nomination, we present to you three awesome remixes from an all-star cast. First up is the legendary Gene Siewing representing his manmade label, Intent Recordings. Also known for his collaborations with Oliver $ as Chubby Dubz, Gene branched out to create his own original house sound. His 'Protection & Loyalty Mix' is basically badass. His supreme production quality really chimes through with bunches of beats and sampling prowess. A deep and old school mix that is hard to come by these days.

Second on the EP is our good friend and emerging Toronto based artist, Miles Caswell, with his almost ambient, after-hours rendition. Sometimes there's nothing to be said when a vibe such as this is so sublime. That or life is too complicated to warrant vocals in this remix.

In the final round Jazzawesz comes in with his quick and effortless deep-house remix. It's everything you ever wanted in the genre; perfect loops, sweet jazz samples, and just a really great groove. Perfect for a party.
